Hi Everyone

Well I completed my first half marathon on a sunny windy day in Worksop!  Clumber Park was beautiful, and happily, the sometimes elusive joy that comes from running was with me that day. Sun shining , birds singing, wind cooling you down, and every muscle feeling like it was working gracefully.   I loved it.  Of course that probably means I wasnt running fast enough!  

Although I ran for the Sospans my 'home' club, I wore my Vegan Vest with pride, and wasnt even crushed when crossing the line a group of 'witty' faster male runners shouted if you ate a bit of meat you couldve knocked 10 minutes of your time ... managed to grin broadly and shout back i run on Tofu Power!!!!

Will upload a photo later, which may give the lie to my belief of my running grace under pressure.
