Inspite of the weather conditions on 1 November (World Vegan Day), 5 of our 6 entrants made it to the start line and the results:
Peter Simpson 44.41, 31 / 549
Caitlin Blodans 49.37, 98th & 7th female
James Millington 53.40, 176th (subject to confirmation due to admin typing error)
Chris Dhondee 58.35, 280th
Vanessa Hudson 59.06, 337th (also started late and assume chip time unaffected)

Fantastic socks Vanessa!
I tottered out for my first post-marathon run wearing my VRUK vest (sadly the green hair gel didn't come out in the wash. Never mind, happy memories), hit the wall at 3 (!) miles and tottered the remaining 4 miles home at a very gentle pace indeed.
Sorry I didn't make it. Those are very good photos - a happy, healthy and, dare I say, handsome group of vegan runners.
